FOUNDERS DAY DEBATEDIGNITY OF MAN DEBATE–58th Founders’ Day Celebration

Dignity of Man Debate is an annual Debate Championship in commemoration of the University of Nigeria Founders’ Day. The Debate is based on the British Parliamentary system. It is aimed at promoting critical thinking, advocacy and public speaking skills among our students.

Applications are hereby invited from students of the University of Nigeria who may wish to participate in the Debate.

In line with the British Parliamentary Debate System, applicants are expected to:

  1. Constitute themselves into teams, and apply as such.
  2. Each team shall comprise two persons.
  3. The Department, Registration number and phone numbers of team members should be indicated.

3-DAY MANDATORY ORIENTATION/TRAINING FOR ALL GRADUATE ASSISTANTS AND ASSISTANT LECTURERS

University of Nigeria Nsukka in collaboration with University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa is organizing a mandatory orientation/training for all Graduate Assistants and Assistant Lecturers in University of Nigeria.

Date: November 12-14, 2018 .

Venue: Princess Alexandria Auditorium (PAA), UNN.

The training will address potential challenges that affect the performance and career advancement of these early career researchers. It will also equip them with skills necessary to operate in a University environment in the 21st Century where internationalization of skills and operations is the norm.
