DENTIFICATION OF PATENTS IN UNN FOR COMMERCIALIZATION PURPOSE
The Vice Chancellor Prof. B.C. Ozumba recently established the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Recall that the Directorate of IPTTO is here to promote and manage the Intellectual Properties portfolio of the University and its Technology Transfer initiatives.
Thus, the University through the IPTTO seeks to assist researchers/innovators who own patents with the challenging commercialization step. As a starter, the IPTTO is requesting staff of this university who own patents to provide us information of their current patents for proper recording and to facilitate commercialization through the assistance of the University.
The process is made simple. Send the following information regarding your current Patents: Patent title, names of Innovators, ID number, and date patent was granted. Email your submission to any of the following email addresses (director.iptto@unn.edu.ng; iptto@unn.edu.ng).
